1. MubasherTrade Document Checklist – Individual

GCC Nationals

Account opening form :
Printed Account Opening form signed by the Client. In case of Joint Accounts the Form to be signed by both Account Holders

Identification Documents :

  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of National ID (with photograph)

Other Documents
Utility Bill that shows the Physical Address (Not P.O box and the Utility Bill should be of a date within the last 3 months of account opening date).

A BANK STATEMENT confirming IBAN for the last three months. If the Bank Statement is a Statement downloaded from the Internet it needs to be attested/stamped by the Bank.

GCC Residents

Account opening form :
Printed Account Opening form signed by the Client. In case of Joint Accounts the Form to be signed by both Account Holders

Identification Documents :

  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of Resident Visa page
  • Local ID copy (with photograph)

Other Documents
Utility Bill that shows the Physical Address (Not P.O box and the Utility Bill should be of a date within the last 3 months of account opening date).

A BANK STATEMENT confirming IBAN for the last three months. If the Bank Statement is a Statement downloaded from the Internet it needs to be attested/stamped by the Bank.

Other Clients

Account opening form :
Printed Account Opening form signed by the Client. In case of Joint Accounts the Form to be signed by both Account Holders

  • a Copy of any other ID (with photograph)

  • UAE Nationals and UAE Residents may have to provide additional documentation upon request, in order to comply with the UAE regulatory requirements;
  • Once application is printed it is considered final, if any alterations are made manually on the document it needs to be signed by the concerned individual/s for each change/alteration. The alterations made will be accepted on a case by case basis. In certain cases considering the importance of data the application may need to be completed afresh on the website e.g. changes to name, mobile number, email address, bank account details, etc.
  • If self-employed please provide self-attested Commercial Registration Certificate or a Trading License confirming the same.
  • Joint Account Holders must be related. The relationship must be proven with valid document.
  • Joint Account Holders must also provide the Identification Documents for the second account holder. In case of joint account the Bank account for investment must be in the name of the first / primary account holder.
  • In case of opening a derivatives trading account the application must include the duly signed (signature on each page):
    Mubashertrade spot FX and CFD’s trading terms and conditions; and
    Declaration of being an “Accredited Investor” and documents evidencing the Accredited Investor status.

In case you are unable to provide/produce the original documents as tabulated above for identification to Mubasher Financial Services staff (e.g. a customer sending the copy of the document/s by post); the copy must be certified by one of the following from a GCC or FATF member state:

  • A lawyer
  • A notary
  • A chartered / certified accountant
  • An official of a government ministry
  • An official of an embassy or consulate or
  • An official of another licensed financial institution or of its associate

2. MubasherTrade Document Checklist – Corporate

Requirements

  • MubasherTrade Corporate Application Form (each page) signed by the Companies authorized signatory and stamped with the Companies Corporate Seal. In respect of any changes done manually to the items on the application form the same would need to be signed by the Companies authorized signatory. In case of substantial changes the Mubashertrade team may require the Company to complete another Application Form;
  • Certificate of Incorporation and/or Certificate of Commercial Registration or Trust Deed;
  • Memorandum of Association (object clause should not restrict investments in financial instruments) and Articles of Association;
  • Board resolution authorizing the opening of the Account with Mubashertrade and including names of signatories authorized to open the account and to transact. (The Board resolution is not required if the Company is listed on a Recognized Stock Exchange);
  • List of authorized signatories and specimen signatures (authorization for trades and request for funds withdrawal) or a POA favoring a person authorized to provide instructions on behalf of the Company;
  • Identification documentation of the authorised signatories of the account;
  • 1List of shareholders holding more than 10% of the Company’s share capital and list of Directors along with copies of shareholders and directors passport and another identification documents e.g. ID card issued by a government agency of the country of residence or nationality of the individual.
  • Bank statement for the previous 3 months to the date of application for opening a Trading Account and
  • 2Copy of the latest financial report and accounts, audited where possible or Board certified copies of the un-audited financial report and accounts. (two years audited financials if DVP trading limit is requested by the Company otherwise not applicable)
  • In case of opening a derivatives trading account the application must include the duly signed (signature on each page):
    Mubashertrade spot FX and CFD’s trading terms and conditions; and
    Declaration of being an “Accredited Investor” and documents evidencing the Accredited Investor status.

1. The requirement will not apply in case the Company is listed on a Recognized Stock Exchange.

2. The requirements will not apply in case the Company is listed on a Recognized Stock Exchange and for which financial information is available on the Companies website.

Attestation of the Copies

1. The photocopies of all of the above should be certified as true copy by the Head of Compliance / Legal of the Company or alternatively by the authorized signatory and confirmed original verified by the Mubasher Financial Services staff. In case of non-face to face client the below would apply.

2. The copies of the above mentioned documents, required to verify the application information have to be certified by one of the following members from a GCC or FATF member state:

  • A lawyer
  • A notary
  • A chartered / certified accountant
  • An official of a government ministry
  • An official of an embassy or consulate or
  • An official of another licensed financial institution or of its associate

Important: Mubasher Financial Services upon review of the documents as per the checklist reserves the right to request for additional document as may be needed in compliance with its local regulations.

Further, Mubasher Financial Services BSC (C) reserves the right to request such other additional documents during the tenure of the trading account or subsequently as may be needed to comply with regulations on Know Your Customers and Anti Money Laundering.
